Sewing lesson

This week, I taught David how to sew using my sewing machine, but did not think his first lesson would be sewing face masks.  Stay safe and well.

Death of my mother - Omie Mae Reaves

2019 ended on a sad note. My mother passed away on New Years Eve. David and I made it to Maryland just an hour before my sister gave me the news.  I did not get to see her before she left this world, but I know I will see her again.  I was able to say goodbye and that I loved her so much by  phone on Christmas Eve.  All is well.  No more pain and sorrow for her now. I love you, Mom.

Back to school

Classes start back this week for David.  He is in his second year. He is looking forward to a very busy semester, but also a rewarding semester.  He will be taking several cooking classes necessary for his culinary arts degree, as well as, a history and math class. David will be working in the bakery at the Keeter Center restaurant.  Only a few more work stations then he will have worked all areas of the kitchen.  David is thinking about applying for a student manager position at the end of this semester.
