Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

Happy New Year. May God bless you in the year 2015! A lot has happened in these last three months.

In November we celebrated James's 16th birthday. We had a small celebration on the 18th with just our family. The following Saturday, we invited the Reaves family to celebrate with us and enjoyed eating a delicious dinner and a pizza cake. We finished up the evening with some games and good fellowship.

Christmas was very quite and peaceful this year. On Christmas Eve we enjoyed the evening together as a family and eat snack foods while watching Christmas classics such as Frosty the Snowman, and The Grinch the Stole Christmas, to name a few. We celebrated Christmas day with just our family. In the morning, we read the story of Christ's birth and exchanged presents, then in the evening we enjoyed a delicious, traditional Christmas dinner with turkey, ham, stuffing, potatoes, and broccoli casserole.

Two days after Christmas, we celebrated David's 14th birthday. On the 27th we celebrated with a Mexican lunch, including tacos, casadias, and chips with all the fixings, followed by present opening, and finally bowling with the Reaves family.

On the evening of the 31st, we began our countdown to the new year. We spent the evening together watching a movie, eating snack foods, and enjoying the neighborhood fireworks. There is nothing like the experience of a 360° public firework display at the stroke of midnight. We even set off some of our own fireworks this year.

Please pray for us in this new year. Please pray that God blesses the ministry and that more Czechs would come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
