Where did autumn go?
Autumn was a great time for special activities. We celebrated Elaina's (10) and Elijah's (8) birthday at the park, then harvest time came and went, but not before we were able to enjoy some time at the pumpkin patch and petty zoo. We also had a great time at a local fall festival, where Elijah made it to the top of the climbing wall. Grandma was so excited. David and Morgan confirmed their wedding date and the highlight of the season was Emmie's first birthday.

Look who started the 7th grade
It is hard to believe that Lydia is in the 7th grade until you speak with her. You will soon realize how sharp and how mature she has become. I was able to spend a week with Lydia and her parents at the end of July. I had such and wonderful time with them. Next to just spending time with my family, the trip to the Colorado Springs Zoo was my favorite part.

Winter storm leaves me with more muscles
I am sure each of you are following the news. It is true, we are sooooo cold and more snow has fallen then we have seen in a long time. My pipes froze four days ago. That is were the muscles come into play - I have been carrying water and shoveling snow. Praise the Lord my heat has continued to work and I have not been part of the rolling black-outs for the city. Today, I danced for joy as I heard my faucets running water and I saw the sun shining.
Wonderful Visit
I had a wonderful visit with my daughter Gina and her family. They sent me a text back in January laying out their plans. I was so excited. They arrived on February 4, leaving Lydia (my oldest daughter) with me for a few days while they went on an anniversary get-a-way. Lydia and I had a GREAT time. We laughed and talked a lot, played games, dressed alike, wore funny slippers, watched movies, and eat our favorite foods. On Saturday, Daniel and Gina picked us up then traveled to Branson to spend the day at Wonder Works. What a great place! My family made me feel so special as they treated me to lunch also dinner, and paid the Wonder Work's entry cost. What a day! They stayed here with me for the next week. Lots of laughing, reminiscing, eating, and playing games. I actually beat my son-in-law at a game - Lord is so good.
