School starts back in Greene County on August 23, 2021. I am sure going to miss these three.
I pray for a wonderful experience for them this year - many changes taking place.

The grandkids and I had a wonderful day for the 4th of July. We enjoyed hotdogs, cupcakes, and fireworks. Hope each of you made memories also.
I am sure each of you are following the news. It is true, we are sooooo cold and more snow has fallen then we have seen in a long time. My pipes froze four days ago. That is were the muscles come into play - I have been carrying water and shoveling snow. Praise the Lord my heat has continued to work and I have not been part of the rolling black-outs for the city. Today, I danced for joy as I heard my faucets running water and I saw the sun shining.
I had a wonderful visit with my daughter Gina and her family. They sent me a text back in January laying out their plans. I was so excited. They arrived on February 4, leaving Lydia (my oldest daughter) with me for a few days while they went on an anniversary get-a-way. Lydia and I had a GREAT time. We laughed and talked a lot, played games, dressed alike, wore funny slippers, watched movies, and eat our favorite foods. On Saturday, Daniel and Gina picked us up then traveled to Branson to spend the day at Wonder Works. What a great place! My family made me feel so special as they treated me to lunch also dinner, and paid the Wonder Work's entry cost. What a day! They stayed here with me for the next week. Lots of laughing, reminiscing, eating, and playing games. I actually beat my son-in-law at a game - Lord is so good.
David and I would like to wish each of you a happy new year. May 2021 be better than 2020- more memories, more forgiveness, more love, more gains through our losses.....
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his
courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. Psalms 100:4
During this difficult year, I have chosen to focus on love,
joy, thankfulness and gratefulness. It
has not always been easy to keep my focus there, but the Lord continues to give
me the courage and the strength to do so.
2020 has given me the opportunity to be closer to my Lord
and savior, my church family, my friends, my children, and my grandchildren. I
have learned that being thankful is not the end but only the beginning. It is
from deep within the heart that gratitude shows itself through love, devotion,
and commitment towards those who mean the most in your life.
